Hometown Heroes Series: Charlottesville's Own Jonas Sanker and Malachi Fields NIL Drop

Hometown Heroes Collection

As we gear up for Senior Night on Saturday, November 23, Locker Room Access is thrilled to celebrate two standout athletes and true hometown heroes, Jonas Sanker and Malachi Fields. Both athletes have made a name for themselves in Charlottesville, and this exclusive NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) drop will give their fans an opportunity to support them directly—something our platform was built to do.

Locker Room Access was created with a simple mission: For the Fans, By the Players. We understand that no one tells an athlete’s story better than the athletes themselves. Locker Room Access provides players a platform to share their narrative, build their brands, and connect with fans on their terms. Through our Hometown Heroes series, Jonas and Malachi are taking center stage to engage with their community, wearing their Charlottesville pride and giving back to the city that raised them. We are proud to say that these drops are for the players—all profits go straight to Jonas and Malachi.

In partnership with Cav Futures, this NIL drop is about more than just merch. Cav Futures aligns with our values by building a marketplace for UVA athletes that connects them with opportunities to leverage their name, image, and likeness. They are passionate about using NIL to make a positive impact on the Charlottesville community, encouraging social activism and professional readiness to prepare athletes for long-term success. It’s only fitting that our Hometown Heroes series supports Jonas and Malachi in partnership with an organization that shares this mission.

Meet the Hometown Heroes

Jonas Sanker and Malachi Fields have represented the Charlottesville community with pride and grit. Jonas, a Covenant School alum, and Malachi, a Monticello High School graduate, have made a significant impact both on and off the field. Jonas has been a longtime standout on defense, and Malachi’s transition from high school quarterback to college wide receiver showcases his athletic versatility and dedication. This drop honors their journeys, and we’re excited to give fans a chance to be part of their story.

Stay tuned for more ways to support athletes through NIL...coming soon!
