Top 5 UVA Football Uniforms
5. Early 90's Orange
Early 90’s home orange. Simple? Sure, but that was the look for most programs in the 1990’s. UVa’s simple, yet noticeable jerseys paired with the white paints with orange and blue stripe was a clean look for the successful teams of the early 1990’s.
4. 1968 Throwback - Blue
1968 Throwbacks. While Mike London’s tenure at Virginia didn’t go as planned in regards to wins, they sure did mix up their uniform combos and they were pretty legit. These modern-style throwbacks from the 1968 team were sported on a couple of different occasions and did not disappoint.
3. 90's Retro - Orange (Nike)
The modern-style of the early 90’s look was sported once back in the late 2000’s as shown here with Cedric Peerman rocking it. Very similar to the originals, the updated Nike version paired well with the updated white paints with a blue and orange stripe.
2. 2019 -White (Nike)
UVa’s current uniforms combine different eras of Virginia football. The stripes on the sleeves resemble old school style uniforms and the stripes on the pants look more like the mid to late 2000-style that Nike originally created for Virginia. The current all white look is one of my favorites that they wear under Mendenhall.
