Redshirt-freshman Anthony Robinson has been one of the most intriguing players to watch this season. His unique blend of size and athleticism make him a force on the court. But as is typical with most players in their first season of college action, there is a learning curve.
I need someone to explain the physics here.

Incredible play by Anthony Robinson.

The packline defense is notoriously difficult for young big men, and Robinson has had his struggles within the system not unlike most. But the good news is he seems to be settling in, logging double digit minutes in 6 of the last 7 contests. Including a season-best performance in the win over Pitt, going for 9 points and 6 rebounds. It appears Robinson has established himself in the rotation for the remainder of the season. He's also leading the team in field goal percentage, converting over 70% of his attempts.
Anthony has been a pleasure to watch, providing a change of pace and always bringing good energy. He physically matches up with stronger opposing big men and he attacks the rim aggressively. With three seasons of remaining eligibility, Anthony hasn’t even scratched the surface of his potential. He has a chance to develop into a pro prospect. But for now, he's becoming a reliable piece for this year's Hoos as they look to finish the season strong.
The special Locker Room Access eBay auctions are underway. All in honor of our friend Chris Dembitz, better known as Phony Bennett. Items include signed game worn shoes, like Anthony Robinson's shoes pictured above.
All proceeds from player merch go to them through NIL. There are also items from the coaching staff and former players, such as Jason Williford's signed shoes, with those proceeds going to the UVA Children's Hospital in Chris's name.
